Attending ICEIS

I arrived in Porto, Portugal this morning to attend the ICEIS Web Services Workshop. I have to give the keynote for the workshop on Wednesday. The title of my talk is "Extending Web Services Bindings for Real-world Enterprise Computing Systems."

In addition to looking forward to that workshop, I'm looking forward to catching up with Jim Coplien. Cope has been a positive influence on me and many others for many years due to his work in C++ idioms, patterns, and multi-paradigm design. I look forward to spending some time chatting with him.
